Lakers Pull Through in Fourth to Beat Dallas
The Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday after a solid fourth quarter that proved to be the difference in the game. The Lakers improve to 20-13 on the season while moving their miserable losing record to a game better at 6-11. The win was especially big due to the poor play the team has had away from LA and the caliber of the team they beat. The Mavericks have been playing as well as anyone lately and played just as tough in this contest.
The Lakers were led by Pau Gasol who had 24 points. Bynum continues to be a hellion on the boards as he grabbed 14 rebounds on the day. Blake led the team in assist as well with 5. The teams went into halftime dead even and remained even after the third quarter. In the fourth the Lakers were able to outscore the Lakers 24-19. The Lakers were able to score roughly 25 points in each quarter, but certainly could of been more productive on offense.
